Luca Jurman's Criticism

He criticized the festival's artistic director, Carlo Conti, for excluding singers over 26 from the New Proposals category.
The Festival's New Structure

As revealed by Carlo Conti, the festival will now feature a clear division between the New Proposals and the Big categories. The New Proposals will not increase the number of Big artists; instead, they will have their own competition with a separate winner. Furthermore, there will be no eliminations.
