A Tribute to Dolly Parton
One of the highlights of the album is Beyoncé's reinterpretation of Dolly Parton's iconic song "Jolene." Released in 1974, "Jolene" has been covered by many artists over the years, including Miley Cyrus and Måneskin. Now, Beyoncé has added her unique touch to the song, slightly modifying the lyrics for her version on "Cowboy Carter." However, in a generous move, Beyoncé chose not to be credited as a songwriter for the track, leaving all royalties to Dolly Parton.
Fans' Concerns Over Missing Tracks

The digital version of the album, which consists of 27 songs, includes tracks that are missing from the CD and vinyl versions. Fans who pre-ordered the album were surprised to find that the vinyl version lacked five songs: "Oh Louisiana," "Spaghettii," "Ya Ya," "The Linda Martell Show," and "Flamenco." The CD version, on the other hand, was missing the first four of these tracks. This discrepancy has led to protests on social media, with fans voicing their dissatisfaction with the incomplete physical copies of the album.
