LIGHTNING to represent "SHOWDOWN IN MANILA" starring ALEXANDER NEVSKY in CANNES
Film was directed by Mark Dacascos ("Cradle 2 The Grave"), produced by Alexander Nevsky and executive produced by Andrzej Bartkowiak ("Romeo Must Die"). It has already been successfully released theatrically in Russia /CIS in February.
Showdown in Manila has "Expendables"- type cast of recognizable action stars: Casper Van Dien , Tia Carrere , Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa , Matthias Hues, Olivier Gruner , Cynthia Rothrock , Robert Madrid , Don "The Dragon" Wilson and Mark Dacascos.
Alexander Nevsky is a former Mr. Universe and an established movie star in Russia . He is based in Los Angeles and his credits include "Moscow Heat," "Undisputed," "Treasure Raiders," "Somewhere," "Black Rose" (which he directed) and the upcoming "Maximum Impact." Nevsky represents Russia as a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
