Interno con vista

From the September 6th to 16th 2025 Medina Art Gallery Castelli Romani presents the personal exhibition of Linda Aquaro, titled “INTERIOR WITH A VIEW” the care of Valeria Rufini Ferranti: the exhibition brings together both canvases and more material works in which the artist engages with the theme of the box.

The event of opening it’s on Saturday September 6 at 6 pm at the Medina Art Gallery Castelli Romani, in Piazza del Mercato 9, in Monte Porzio Catone (RM).

Interior with a view It offers us a profound and insightful insight into Aquaro's poetics; it is the opportunity to look at the world from the perspective of an artist capable of engraving the wounds of a soul into matter. A soul that seeks refuge in the space of a box, in which it encloses its secrets, its fears, but which is at the same time strong enough to reveal those hidden thoughts, that most solitary self, because the box is open…

The stylistic rendering, with a marked expressionist matrix, is favored by the use of a full-bodied and vibrant brushstroke and also for this reason goes hand in hand with the expressive depth of the faces and situations portrayed.

Looking out the window of Linda Aquaro's art means leaning into the complex and detailed universe of human interiority, contemplating a panorama in which painting and poetry blend in the colors of the sunset...

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-13:00 and 17:00-20:00.
