James Arthur Triumphs on the X Factor
James was able to see off powerful-voiced Jahméne Douglas and unexpected crowd-favourite Christopher Maloney with strong performances of "Feeling Good" and "Make You Feel My Love", a duet with his mentor Nicole Scherzinger . From now on, he will be working hard to imitate Leona Lewis' soaring career, rather than Steve Brookstein's which plummeted, Icarus-like, soon after he won the competition.
