Bombardier si occuperà dell'assemblaggio di locomotive diesel per conto di EMD presso lo stabilimento di Savli, nelle vicinanze di Vadodara, in India

 

BERLINO, GERMANIA - (Marketwire - 19 settembre 2012) - Bombardier Transportation, società leader nel settore dei trasporti su rotaia, collaborerà con Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc. (EMD) all'assemblaggio di locomotive diesel-elettriche in India. Bombardier consegnerà a EMD locomotive diesel destinate all'esportazione verso il Sud-Est asiatico e la regione del Pacifico. Questa collaborazione si aggiunge una sinergia analoga tra le due società, in corso presso lo stabilimento Bombardier di Ciudad Sahagun, in Messico.

 

Bombardier will manufacture components, including underframes and bogies, and assemble the EMD locomotives at its Savli facility in India. EMD will provide all engineering and quality control and will be responsible for product performance.
