Gambler Thanks Balotelli for his Fortune - won €48,000 on a 15-fold with a €5 Stake
As Mario Balotelli made his famous back heel this weekend, little did he know that a gambler in Sweden would salute his extravagant miss.
It helped him towards a win on a massive 15-fold at the odds 9,736.56, winning €48,682 with just a €5 stake with online bookmaker Expekt.com.
The punter had betted on a draw in Manchester City's friendly with LA Galaxy and the match ended 1-1 at full time, thanks to Balotelli and his much talked about back heel. The 20-year-old and former Inter forward was clear on goal but, instead of shooting, he dragged the ball back before back heeling it wide and was immediately substituted by City manager Robert Mancini .
The draw was one of 15 matches that the punter correctly chose with a mix of US PGA golf, baseball, tennis and Swedish league football.
