Seemingly confident with an array of different styles and tempo's this 7 track EP tells an in-depth tale of the mentality and experiences of a self confessed 'cagey' personality. As an artist, he shows versatility on relatable subjects and concepts which are easy to digest and connect to.

Each track has a purpose and MaTiK shows a great degree of intelligence setting the scene and painting the picture in each tack causing a 'zone out' effect for the listener.

Heavily influenced by the likes of Wretch 32, Nipsey Hussle and So Solids Swiss, MaTiK has the ability to grab the attention of a rap/grime fanatic or an individual simply looking for words with meaning and sharp delivery.

Definitely one to keep an ear out for, 'Matte Finish' is an outstanding body of work. Refreshing and distinctive, with attention to detail paid in full, we wish to see more from this UK - North London based artist.
