OTT TV and video revenues in Western Europe [for 15 countries] will reach $13.72 billion in 2020; up from the $894 million recorded in 2010 and the $6.34 billion expected in 2015, according to a new report from Digital TV Research. By 2020, 32.2% of the region's TV households will subscribe to a SVOD package, up from only 9.0% by end-2014. Penetration will be notably higher in the Nordic countries than the others. However, four of the five largest countries (France, Germany, Italy and Spain) will be below 30%.
