Midea Demonstrates Intelligent Kitchen at AWE 2017 to Redefine Future Living Space
"Midea integrates once isolated home appliances to build an innovative intelligence device platform," noted Danielle Boils, Branding & Marketing director, Overseas Sales & Marketing Department of Midea's Kitchen Appliances Division. "For example, when the cooktop temperature goes higher, it will also trigger the airflow of the cooker hood to be increased to generate a better work environment in the kitchen."
The integration of home appliances will also bring massive benefits to people with health concerns or special dietary needs. The smart kitchen could offer a tailored recipe suggestion based on the data that users put into their health tracker, helping them achieve their goal of keeping fit. These data can sync with smart kitchen appliances and other devices to offer a more convenient life.
"Midea has dedicated tremendous efforts to the integration of intelligence into home appliances to bring a life style of quality and convenience to people. These concepts have already been realized in China and will soon be available to global customers," continued Boils. "We are also expecting to build a cross-brand platform with other manufacturers on which devices from different manufacturers could be linked together through a unified protocol to provide a comprehensive intelligent home system."
