Bombardier si aggiudica la gara d'appalto per la manutenzione dei treni della Virgin
Un affare da 100 milioni di sterline per la manutenzione dei treni Super Voyager fino a marzo 2016
LONDON, REGNO UNITO--(Marketwire - 11 dicembre 2012) - Bombardier Transportation, azienda leader nel settore delle tecnologie ferroviarie, ha concluso un contratto con la Virgin Trains per proseguire nella manutenzione dei suoi treni Super Voyager che operano sulla linea principale della costa occidentale britannica. Bombardier will maintain the trains at its Central Rivers depot in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, which employs 360 people, and at other outstations across the network, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

BOMBARDIER ORBITA real-time data gathering and diagnostic technology actively monitored the fleets to identify any maintenance issues before they affected passenger services, while the train depots provided round-the-clock updates on fleet availability and highlighted where support was required.
