Kesko Group's comparatives for the period 1 Jan. 2014 to 30 Jun. 2015 presented according to the new segment structure
Kesko Group's reporting segments as of 1 July 2015
The composition of Kesko's divisional structure and segment reporting were changed as of 1 July 2015. An agricultural and machinery trade unit was established as part of the speciality goods trade of the home improvement and speciality goods trade division (stock exchange release on 27 May 2015). As of 1 July 2015, Kesko Group's reportable segments are the grocery trade, the home improvement and speciality goods trade and the car trade.
The grocery trade comprises the food trade operated in Finland based on the K-retailer business model, K-citymarket's home and speciality goods trade, K-food stores in Russia and Kespro Ltd's wholesale trade of groceries.
The home improvement and speciality goods trade comprises the building and home improvement trade, the agricultural and machinery trade and the leisure trade. The chains of the building and home improvement trade are K-rauta, Rautia, Rautakesko B2B Service, Byggmakker, Senukai, OMA, Asko and Sotka and Musta Pörssi. The agricultural and machinery trade includes the operations of K-maatalous and Konekesko. The leisure trade chains are Intersport, Budget Sport and Kookenkä. Anttila's operating activities are included in the reporting segment figures until March 2015. The home improvement and speciality goods trade has operations in eight countries.
The car trade comprises VV-Auto's import and retail operations.
