BBC Bride's Bovey Castle Dreams Dashed by Tattooed Groom

The show, in which the groom plans the entire event without any involvement from his fiancée, featured Bovey Castle as the bride's idyllic choice - though her husband-to-be had other plans.

Dani Cooke walked the grounds of the luxury, -style Devon hotel, and had her heart set on the award-winning castle, part of the Eden Hotel Collection.

But Dani's "princess wedding" was not to be as fiancé Adam Butler opted instead for the less conventional setting of the Great British Tattoo Convention.

Bovey Caste, recently added to the Eden Hotel Collection, was earmarked for an immediate £2m renovation programme to include an exciting re-launch of the hotel's food and beverage offerings, as well as improvements to the guest rooms and other public areas.
