- Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) today announced that its board of directors declared a 6.3 percent, or $0.03 increase, in the quarterly dividend to $0.505 per share. The annual equivalent rate of $2.02 per share represents 49 consecutive years of annual dividend increases. Common shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 19, 2018, will receive $0.505 per share, payable Dec. 1, 2018.

"We are pleased to announce our 49 consecutive annual dividend increase, one of the longest records in the utility sector. This action demonstrates confidence in our long-term cash flow and earnings growth strategy," said David R. Emery, chairman and CEO of Black Hills Corp. "Our track record of dividend increases affirms our long-term strategy of sharing earnings growth with shareholders while maintaining the capital to continue building long-term customer and shareholder value."

The company also confirms that it will announce its 2018 third quarter earnings after the market closes on Monday, Nov. 5, and host its 2018 third quarter earnings conference call and webcast on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. EST.
