EM Power Bank Sharing continues to develop its international strategy with a growing focus on the European market. The company, active in the shared mobile energy solutions sector, sees Europe as a particularly attractive market thanks to the widespread diffusion of smartphones and the high demand for instant charging services in high-traffic locations.

The strategy isn't simply about transferring a model already used in China to Europe. EM is instead adapting its infrastructure to local needs, combining intelligent hardware, IoT cloud systems, and operational management designed for different European markets.

Payment system integration plays a key role. In addition to traditional QR code-based tools, the platform supports credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, NFC contactless payments, and local e-wallets. The company has also worked on adapting its backend systems to multilingualism and GDPR compliance, aiming to offer a more tailored experience for European users.

The physical infrastructure was also designed with the standards required by the European market in mind. The project complies with CE, RoHS, and other relevant requirements for equipment safety and compliance.

At the heart of the expansion plan is an asset-light operating model. EM aims to collaborate with local partners who contribute to equipment investments and the development of local business relationships, while the company provides technology, an IoT platform, operational support, and dedicated market development expertise. Revenues can then be shared between the parties based on the revenue generated.

This approach allows EM to more rapidly develop a network of service points in strategic locations. Potential partners and installation sites include retailers, telecom operators, transportation hubs, restaurants, cinemas, hotels, and major European tourist attractions.

Increasing station density could also facilitate a system where users can rent a power bank in one location and return it to another compatible location. For local partners, the model aims to combine relatively low investments with new revenue opportunities resulting from frequent use of the service.

According to the roadmap described by EM, 2026 represents an acceleration phase for European expansion. In subsequent phases, the company plans to focus its resources more on airports, high-traffic business districts, and strategic tourist attractions.

Through the combination of IoT technology, digital payment systems, collaboration with local operators and an asset-light operating model, EM Power Bank Sharing aims to build a more widespread presence in the European market and to transform shared mobile charging into a service increasingly integrated into urban life.
