Providing an opportunity for teachers to listen to keynote presentations from experts, engage with panel discussions, share best practice in facilitated workshops and meet in interest groups, this year's conference will be held at United World College South-East Asia East Campus, Singapore, between 16 and 17 October.

The Cambridge Schools Conference will feature some excellent speakers from the world of international education and will include keynote addresses from:

Tristian Stobie, Director of Education, Cambridge International Examinations said: "Cambridge Schools Conferences are valued by teachers as excellent professional development and networking opportunities. They are successful because of the expertise and enthusiasm brought to them by teachers who represent a wide variety of countries and cultures. Preparing learners for life in the modern world is a complex, challenging and rewarding task. Many schools claim to offer an education that achieves this outcome but it is very hard to measure progress. While students need to be educated for an increasingly global world, schools operate in very specific local and cultural settings which give them their own unique and special identity. Education has to be both local and global. We look forward to welcoming teachers to share ideas and contribute to a better understanding of this important area."

Teachers can join the conference to reflect on this topic and to meet fellow Cambridge teachers. The conference will be held at United World College South-East Asia East Campus, Singapore, from 16-17 October. Optional training courses for teachers who want to find out more about teaching and assessing skills in English, Science and Language awareness, will be held on Friday 18th October. To register your interest please email [email protected]
