Is hovelstay.com Changing the Word "Budget?"

Is this creating an opening for those traveling with limited means?  It is certainly looking that way.  Instead of the more frightening prospects of certain roadside motels along any given highway, flashing neon budget signs, travelers are now offered a choice with hovelstay.com's prices always remaining under $99 US dollars per night, and many of those properties are comparable to those twice the price on other vacation rental sites.  So, does this change the word budget?

Is this creating an opening for those traveling with limited means?  It is certainly looking that way.  Instead of the more frightening prospects of certain roadside motels along any given highway, flashing neon budget signs, travelers are now offered a choice with hovelstay.com's prices always remaining under $99 US dollars per night, and many of those properties are comparable to those twice the price on other vacation rental sites.  So, does this change the word budget?

"You bet," stated hovelstay Co-Founder and CEO Michael Bolger .  Bolger went on, "The word budget was a concept of microeconomics that just doesn't work anymore, as a trade-off between goods.  And travel has stepped way outside that circle.  We're finding people are far more adventurous than the market originally allowed for, and that doesn't cost a lot of money, so how can it be compared to budget?"

Which begs the question – is hovelstay.com pushing out the word budget, and creating a simple category of "less expensive" within travel?  With their 3% booking fee on each side, quite possibly.
