Producer Jay "J2" Singh, The Man Behind Shakira's Hit New Single "Dare (La La La)"
A producer with a unique and worldly sound, J2 drew inspiration for "Dare (La La La)" from his British/Indian heritage, and early days as a DJ, to create a catchy melody that appeals to a global audience. The song is an up-tempo dance track, built over big drums and chants, which contains Brazilian beats and takes influence from electro house. "Dare (La La La)" is the third released single from Shakira's self-titled 10 studio album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year.

J2 has also established himself as a successful composer whose music is widely featured in trailers, films, TV shows and video games. He produced Johnny Cash's "Ain't No Grave" (Black Opium remix) for the Oscar-winning movie "Django Unchained," which became the main title song of the movie's trailer. Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror," which appears on J2's album "J2, The Iconic Series Vol 1.," was also recently featured on the hit TV show "Grey's Anatomy."
