Il Premio è nato nel 2004 ed è attribuito dalla business school HEC, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants e La Tribune alle migliori aziende europee in base a tre criteri - crescita, europeanità e fusioni e acquisizioni - e in due categorie (grandi aziende e piccole e medie imprese/industrie).

This award recognises the TOUAX Group for its European development strategy, in particular in Central and Eastern European markets. By taking the risk of investing abroad and in particular in Europe, the Group's revenue has risen by over 500% in 10 years from E68.3 million (of which E14.5 million in France) to E364.9 million (of which E33 million in France).
It was as part of this strategy that in 2007 the Group acquired Warex, a major assembler and lessor of modular buildings in Germany and market leader in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, a market in which TOUAX opened its first assembly plant before opening a second manufacturing plant in France, outside Chartres.
Having won a number of design and innovation awards, TOUAX modular buildings meet customer needs by offering a flexible alternative that is up to 50% cheaper than traditional buildings.
The TOUAX Group provides operational leasing services to a global customer base, both for its own account and on behalf of investors. TOUAX is the leader in leasing of shipping containers and river barges in continental Europe and number two in modular buildings and freight railcars (intermodal railcars). TOUAX is well positioned to take advantage of the rapid growth in corporate outsourcing of non-strategic assets and every day offers efficient and flexible leasing solutions to more than 5,000 customers. The Group's financial statements for 2008 will be released on 24 March 2009.
