Bombardier rechaza la demanda de Deutsche Bahn
BERLÍN, ALEMANIA --(Marketwire - 4 de marzo de 2013) - Bombardier Transportation rechaza públicamente la demanda de Deutsche Bahn relativa a los trenes de cercanías berlineses S-Bahn de la serie 481, considerando que dicha demanda carece de fundamento y que las alegaciones son difamatorias. Bombardier se reserva el derecho de emprender acciones contra estas acusaciones difamatorias.
La garantía general de los trenes de cercanías berlineses de la serie 481 finalizó de común acuerdo en 2007. Hasta esta fecha, la disponibilidad de los trenes superó regularmente el 98%, un alto porcentaje comparado sistemas ferroviarios europeos similares. Desde el principio, S-Bahn Berlin ha tenido la responsabilidad de su propio mantenimiento. Bombardier Transportation no tiene obligaciones contractuales de mantenimiento y reparación de la serie 481.
Bombardier Transportation believes that prolonged litigation is not in the interests of either company and remains open to dialogue with Deutsche Bahn.
