NNIT to run Widex' ERP operations

Widex outsources ERP support, development and operations to NNIT to strengthen its overall IT platform and to support the implementation of major IT initiatives including the continued ERP roll-out

Copenhagen, May 26, 2016 - NNIT, a leading provider of IT services and consultancy, announces that it has signed a five-year agreement with Widex covering maintenance and roll out of Dynamics AX in the company's wholesale units.

Headquartered in Denmark with subsidiaries around the world, Widex is a global provider of advanced hearing solutions, comprising close to 4,000 employees globally. In its business, the company relies on a solid and stable IT platform. Following a thorough analysis, Widex found that outsourcing all of its ERP setup was the best way to ensure continued competitiveness and sufficient flexibility to adapt to quickly changing market conditions.

"Running a stable and efficient ERP setup is the foundation for our continued growth," says Bo Bendsen, CIO at Widex. "We have great ambitions for the future, and optimizing IT services helps us prepare for the increasing business demands to stay competitive. To achieve our key strategic business priorities and support our future growth, we believe that partnering with NNIT is the right solution."

As part of the agreement, NNIT will take over application maintenance, operation and development of Widex' ERP systems, based on Dynamics AX. By choosing NNIT, Widex will not only experience flexible and scalable IT services, more importantly they will obtain operational excellence and a high security level.

Corporate Vice President in NNIT Mette Steffensen says: "We very much look forward to working with Widex. As a global company, Widex relies on stable and efficient IT operations - we will take advantage of our many years of experience with application outsourcing and our strategic partnership with Scales Group to support Widex' continued growth."
