Kesko's sales in November 2014

 

Kesko Group's sales, excluding VAT, in November 2014 totalled EUR705.3 million, down 7.1%.

 

In Kesko's food trade, sales in November were EUR340.0 million, a decrease of 6.1% from the previous year. The number of delivery days was one less than in the previous year.

 

In the home and speciality goods trade, sales in November were EUR111.7 million, a decrease of 9.6%. The sales performance was especially impacted by the decline in the sales of the department store trade and sports trade, and the changes in the network of Anttila.

 

In the building and home improvement trade, sales in November were EUR194.3 million, a decrease of 5.2%. In terms of local currencies, sales were down by 1.2%. Sales in Finland decreased by 9.4%. Sales abroad decreased by 2.3% in euros, but increased by 4.7% in local currencies.

 

In the car and machinery trade, sales in November were EUR72.4 million, a decrease of 12.1%. VV-Auto's sales in November were EUR60.1 million, down 9.5%. Konekesko's sales in November were EUR12.3 million, a decrease of 23.0% from the previous year.

In November 2014, the number of selling days in Kesko's wholesale in Finland was 20, which was one less than in the previous year. The total number of selling days in January-November was two less than in the previous year. The number of retail selling days in November was 28, which was the same as in the previous year. The total number of retail selling days in January-November was the same as in the previous year.
