The ski areas were rated via a scale from 1 (= bad) to 10 (=top). If any ski areas were rated identically, the recommendation rate decides over the ranking. The data basis for the ranking is based on 250 ski areas located throughout Europe , which each received at least 50 ratings in the winter season 2015/14, and at least 250 ratings during the past five seasons.
