Amer Sports has completed the acquisition of Sports Tracker
Amer Sports Corporation has completed the acquisition of Sports Tracker announced on May 4, 2015. The acquisition has no material impact on Amer Sports 2015 business results.
Through the acquisition Amer Sports strengthens its digital engagement capabilities. Sports Tracker is a digital sports application and online service and it will be an integral part of Amer Sports Digital Ecosystem which consists of connected devices, smart sensors, connected Preva network, services such as Movescount, and brand websites and e-commerce. The acquisition allows Amer Sports to strengthen its digital platform, with the primary objective to further drive connected devices sales and e-commerce.
