Reed Exhibitions China to Launch Second Management Associate Program

To date, Reed remains the only local exhibition organizer to run such an initiative. First held in 2010, this year's RMAP will identify a number of outstanding candidates, all of whom will be recent graduates. Following the completion of the recruitment process, the chosen candidates will enter into a three-year program in either Beijing or Shanghai, where they will work in key functions like Marketing, Sales and Project Management.

Speaking at the RMAP launch, Mr. Chen commented, "We've designed the program to do more than just equip the Management Associates with the skills to operate in this highly dynamic industry.  We believe we're training the very people who will eventually lead Reed Exhibitions."

Reed has already signaled its ambitions to strengthen its presence in China 's second tier cities, with successful editions in Chengdu , Hefei and Xiamen , among other lower tier cities, this year. With the RMAP, Reed demonstrates a belief that the long-term success of the company in China , as well as the sustained health of the country's exhibition industry, must be sustained by a blend of experience and promising young talent.
