Ready, get set, meditate: Raelians intensify 'One Minute for Peace' campaign to hourly meditations at 59th minute mark
"Our meditations for peace have already brought thousands of people together in the streets of every continent," said Raelian Guide Marco Franceschini, leader of the campaign. "However, that's still not enough because the risk of humanity's destruction is higher than ever. So we're now encouraging members of the public to meditate with us for the last minute of each and every hour."
According to Franceschini, Rael explained in a recent address that our brains are wired to give love to others, and that when more and more people do that, humanity stands a better chance of stopping its mad race toward destruction.
"Love is matter; love is energy," Rael said. "When you send love to others through meditation, you physically change the world. And the power of [a number of] brains meditating together is infinite."
"So please join us for the last minute of each hour, as many times per day as you can," said Franceschini. "You can stop just for a short moment and send your energy of peace and love to all of humanity, knowing that others are doing the same thing at the same time on every continent. The chances of our humanity's survival are slim, but they exist, and we must do everything possible to enlarge the light of peace on our planet."
