Sagemcom Enables 2014 World Cup Matches Live Reception in 4k UHD 60 FPS

Sagemcom provides its latest 4K UHD set-top box, used to receive and deliver live 60 FPS (frames per second) video of the eighth-final Columbia/ Uruguay and the quarter-final France / Germany to the audience, in several cities in Brazil , for both public audience and press.

The final - 13 of July, will also be broadcast in 4K UHD from Maracana Stadium in Rio.

The football World Cup is one of the first world sporting events to be filmed and broadcast in 4K UHD.
