Like its first edition (held in Turin in April 2018), the second congress of the European Myeloma Network (EMN), which will take place next spring in Amsterdam and will attract hematologists and experts in clinical trials from all over the world, allows the possibility to send scientific works in the form of abstracts.

Researchers can apply and present their abstract by registering to the website created for this purpose at the address https://emn.abstracts.it. A special commission of external reviewers will select the eight most interesting works, among all those submitted by 15 January 2020, which will be presented in the plenary session during the congress. The abstract categories are: Biology and preclinical studies, Newly diagnosed Multiple Myeloma, Relapsed/resistant Multiple Myeloma, Special Conditions, Nursing.

Of note, the eight best young researchers (aged up to 40) who submit an abstract will be awarded a financial contribution (travel grant) to cover the costs of participation in the Congress.

The EMN2020 Congress will be a fundamental occasion of discussion and sharing knowledge among researchers at European and international level. More than 700 participants from 44 countries attended the first meeting in Turin in 2018 and many of the topics discussed during the meeting led to the development of new studies and collaborations, thus confirming the success and relevance of such meetings in the field Multiple myeloma and hematologic neoplasms.

The collaboration between different research teams dealing with clinical trials is the key to the creation of new, more effective and safer treatments and, consequently, new opportunities and benefits for patients.
