Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba (hereinafter referred to as the Company) announces that on the 12 of March, 2019, it received a letter from Lietuvos Energija, UAB informing that after the approval of the Supervisory Board of Lietuvos Energija, UAB, Rimgaudas Kalvaitis has been nominated for the position of the Chief Executive Officer (hereinafter – the CEO) and member of the Board of the Company. Accordingly, on the same day R. Kalvaitis submitted his request to resign from his current position as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Company.

Within two weeks, the Supervisory Board of the Company will decide on the appointment of R. Kalvaitis as a member of the Board of the Company while the Company's Board will take decision on the appointment of Mr. Kalvaitis as the new CEO.

R. Kalvaitis has a degree in physics and is currently managing his own company Technology Competence Center. Mr. Kalvaitis has many years of experience in leading innovative technology businesses in international companies Ericcson, Teletower, and BOD Group companies. Over years, he has acquired know-how in smart energy solutions and development of both renewable and conventional energy projects.
