Telehouse Europe Introduce Public Sector RMADS Security Initiative

The new Her Majesty's Government classifications place an emphasis on government departments to make security decisions based on a risk assessment of their data in relation to both physical and information security principles. In line with this, RMADS facilitates a comprehensive due diligence process in the selection of infrastructure requirements based on CSE (Catalogue of Security Equipment), SAPMA (Security Assessment of Protectively Marked Assets) and CPNI (Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure) methodologies.

The RMADS project is the latest in a roadmap of compliance standards held by Telehouse Europe's London facilities which, among others, includes ISO27001 (Security), PCI-DSS (Payment Information) and BS22301-2:2007 (Business Continuity) accreditations. Full documentation and support is now available to all Telehouse customers, including both Managed Service Providers and the Public Sector for use in their compliance programmes.

Commenting on the RMADS initiative, Andrew Fray, Business Development Director at Telehouse Europe, said "The Introduction of RMADS is an important part of our mission critical infrastructure and recognises the need for close collaboration between government departments and suppliers in managing data security."
