Innovative UK Schools Chosen to Support Radical £1million Randomised Control Trial in Education

The trial aims to demonstrate that the model reduces the progression gap between students on free school meals and not on free school meals, as well as raising attainment overall and reducing absenteeism and exclusion.
Learning through REAL Projects is radically different from traditional classrooms in terms of how students learn, where they learn and who they learn from. As well as traditional subjects students learn through rigorous projects that span more than one subject. Through these they create high quality outputs that are meaningful beyond school, with their products being sold successfully on Amazon or exhibited in public buildings. They learn as much outside of school as inside, working alongside local businesses and cultural organisations. They learn not just from teachers but from experts in the community and each other.
