Klövern lets to the County Council in Linköping

Klövern AB (publ) has signed a contract to let over 6,000 sq.m. to Östergötland County Council at the property Glasbiten 7 in Linköping. Klövern AB (publ) has signed a contract to let over 6,000 sq.m. to Östergötland County Council at the property Glasbiten 7 in Linköping. The lease contract is for a full 25 years and the total contract value amounts to more than SEK 220 million.

Õstergötland County Council intends to concentrate all of its archives at one place in Östergötland. Moving-in is planned to 1 April 2013. Klövern's property will contain around 60,000 shelf metres of archives as well as offices for researchers and archive staff. The property Glasbiten 7, with a total of 11,600 sq.m., was part of the acquisition from Valad in the autumn of 2010 and was at that time 90 per cent vacant. After this letting, the vacancy rate is down to 35 per cent and Klövern expects to sign lease contracts for the major part of the vacant space during the year.
