Malia, Crete
Hot on the heels of last summer's hilarious Inbetweeners movie set in Malia, the clubbing scene in this Cretan town was set to be bigger than ever in 2012. Malia holidays are a fantastic choice for fans of the urban music scene, as Example, N-Dubz and Professor Green were all set to make an appearance at the popular Candy Club. Sunday 19 June saw Candy Club's first Trinity night this season - revelers were treated to huge garage tunes and world-class live music.
Magaluf, Mallorca
Have the summer showers made you dream of escaping to warm Mediterranean climes? Maguluf holidays are guaranteed to help you forget about the gloomy British weather as you dance the night away in some of Spain's best clubs. The Mallorca Rocks Festival kicked off on Tuesday 5 June with a performance by British Award-winner Ed Sheeran, followed by up-and-coming soul rebels The Milk. An infectious mix of northern soul, reggae and punk is guaranteed to get you in the mood for a week of unadulterated fun.
The action isn't over yet. There are still plenty more live music acts yet to perform at Mallorca Rocks this summer, including Example, Magnetic Man and Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac.
Ayia Napa, Cyprus
Ayia Napa holidays just wouldn't be the same without the Kandi Beach Party. The summer celebrations began on Friday 8 June with a riotous evening of phenomenal music from a variety of genres. Be prepared to shake it to hip hop, dubstep, drum and bass and much more at the only official beach party in Ayia Napa. The party doesn't end at sunrise: there's a range of after-parties to keep the rave pumping into Saturday. But if you're looking to chill out, River Reggae's vast open-air space and artificial river are guaranteed to help you wind down in style.
