Wikia, Inc. Announces Neha Tiwari of YouTube as FANDOM VP of Video Strategy and Operations

Tiwari will spearhead video strategy and development with a focus on original programming, community-enhancing content, and branded content. She will also oversee the video team and FANDOM's studios across key international markets, including San Francisco , Los Angeles , London , and Sydney .

"I am excited to help usher in the next generation of FANDOM," said Tiwari. "It's my goal to create compelling video-based, multiplatform content that resonates with fans and spurs engagement in an entirely new way. Prior to joining FANDOM, Tiwari held leadership positions at influential media companies like CBS Interactive and IGN Entertainment, in addition to YouTube. In her most recent role at YouTube, she served as Strategic Partnerships and Programming Manager, where she worked with gaming creators, publishers, and media partners on opportunities for video growth, collaboration and original content and programming.

Tiwari's appointment marks an important step in FANDOM's ambitious content plan. Recently, the brand launched a redesign inclusive of a comprehensive stream and feed-based user experience. FANDOM is also releasing a global app for iOS and Android on October 3, 2017 , which will allow fans to follow their favorite fandoms.
