AKVA group ASA ("AKVA") refers to its announcement on 6 September 2018 and 14 January 2019, regarding the divestment of AKVA's wholly-owned subsidiary Wise lausnir ehf ("Wise") to Advania Holding hf. ("Advania") (the "Transaction").

AKVA and Advania have today agreed to terminate the transaction agreement due to challenges in obtaining approval of the Transaction by the Icelandic Competition Authority on acceptable terms.  

AKVA is in the process of evaluating other strategic options for Wise.
