Alberto Guardiani's Lipstick Heel and Flutterby Shoe in SHOE OBSESSION at the Museum at FIT

The Fashion Institute of Technology has gathered together more than 150 of the most innovative and creative footwear styles from the last decade and opened the event to the public through April 13, 2013, with brands such as Alberto Guardiani, Manolo Blahnik, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, Prada and many others.  The initiative celebrates the ingenious creativity innate in a woman's shoe that has, over time, become a dominating yet essential part of the fashion system.

Alberto Guardiani's Lipstick Heel is presented in its iconic version, a black patent leather pump with an interchangeable red lipstick heel.  Launched in 2010, this iconic style continues to be a best seller this spring summer.  

The Flutterby Shoe in cherry red suede leather with an innovative hand-painted heel shaped as a butterfly's wing was the winner of the Cinderthriller Design Contest launched by Alberto Guardiani and i-D Magazine. It has become a central part of the collection and just launched at the Alberto Guardiani online store in is new sandal option this season.

Both the Lipstick Heel and the Flutterby Shoe are currently available in the Alberto Guardiani online store, in Alberto Guardiani flagship stores and at selected retailers worldwide.
