Teleste at ANGA COM 2014: Teleste's New Android Application Takes Intelligent Networks to the Next Level

At ANGA COM 2014, Teleste Corporation, a leading provider of video and broadband technologies and related services, will introduce a new CATVisor Commander Android application for wireless management of, e.g., the Teleste ACE8, an intelligent node for DOCSIS 3.1 environments. ANGA COM 2014 takes place 20-22 May 2014 in Cologne, Germany.

At ANGA COM 2014, Teleste Corporation, a leading provider of video and broadband technologies and related services, will introduce a new CATVisor Commander Android application for wireless management of, e.g., the Teleste ACE8, an intelligent node for DOCSIS 3.1 environments. ANGA COM 2014 takes place 20-22 May 2014 in Cologne, Germany.

CATVisor Commander Android is a local management application for Android smartphones and tablets. The application addresses our customers' wishes for high usability and more possibilities for remote network management. The Teleste ACE8 node is the first Teleste product that can be managed wirelessly with the application, and the support will be gradually extended to the entire Intelligent Networks portfolio.

The new application takes intelligent network management to a new level: the application uses wireless Bluetooth™ connectivity for easy and professional local device management even via a personal mobile device.

Teleste's Intelligent Networks concept aims at increasing service reliability and cutting down operational costs for networks. Adding intelligence to networks reduces the need for manual maintenance, cuts down service outages and results in increased consumer satisfaction.
