When the vehicle pulled up, the family was at a loss. It was already 9:30 on a Sunday morning, and they were all ready to head out to the theme park. Instead of leaving the family to figure out how to get to the park on their own, Robert Eyers, acting manager, assured them that everything would be taken care of so that they could continue to enjoy their vacation.
In a very short amount of time after the incident happened, the group of six people was on a shuttle and on their way to Disneyland. This was not an easy situation, as Mr. Halicki's twin grandsons needed car seats to travel in. The police report was handled completely by the management of the hotel, and the staff members apologized for the inconvenience that the family now faced.
