Vesa Hämäläinen appointed Amer Sports' Vice President, Information and Communications Solutions

Mr. Vesa Hämäläinen (born in 1967, Finnish citizen) has been appointed Amer Sports' Vice President, Information and Communications Solutions (VP, ICS). Hämäläinen's key areas of responsibility are leading Amer Sports' global IT organization and enabling the acceleration of the company's digital and e-commerce growth. Hämäläinen will join Amer Sports during fall. The current Head of ICS will move to another position in the company.
Mr. Hämäläinen has more than 20 years experience in IT development and leadership positions. He joins Amer Sports from Stockmann Corporation, where he has worked as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the last five years. Previously Hämäläinen worked as the CIO at Ahlstrom Corporation.
Hämäläinen will report to Jussi Siitonen, CFO, Amer Sports.
