Captoria, a stylish social media platform founded in England by Real Estate undergraduate, Thomas Max, captures iconic moments of every-day life and shares them on a global scale; allowing multiple users to capture and share their perspective of it.
"Life is precious, it should be lived to the fullest but also deserves to be captured and preserved for when it needs re-living."
Capturing moments as they occur, reminds us of the beauty of living; and sharing them with others makes it more enjoyable. Whether it's a national headline event, a restaurant visit or the BAFTA's you can freeze the moment in one simple space that is globally accessible by everyone, on a live platform. Offering a whole new dimension to photo sharing, Captoria allows you to visit or revisit the moment and enjoy it all over again from someone else's perspective.
"We want to encourage our users to capture just the moment, quickly - 'in the blink of an eyelid', and then live the rest of the day for their own pleasure, and not to live their life through a screen."
"Our slogan aims to encapsulate this: Live Life, Share Reality, Capture History. Live."
Check out what goes on behind the scenes in business and in glamour. Join the experience and live it first hand no matter who or where you are.
Everyday users are not the only benefactors either. The platform has been built from the ground up to also cater to businesses through a number of creative advertising strategies.
"Formal advertising techniques offer little substance for their audience other than brand awareness. There is little, if anything, which makes the audience want more. The fuel to intrigue has run dry, but Captoria has filled up the tank and we're breaking the speed limit."
At the heart of the Captoria platform, there is a scrollable image feed that captures global events in real time, with automatic keyword tagging alongside additional geo-location.
Unlike current social media services Captoria does not overwhelm. Its users are not expected to upload every second of every day but instead, take their snapshot of the truly sharable moments.
The Captoria application will be free to download from the Apple iTunes store on 11/02/2014.

Notes to editor:
Captoria is the creation of 20-year-old Oxford Brookes University, Real Estate student Thomas Max.
The idea was conceived whilst watching the London Olympic Opening Ceremony. The concept of seeing the event unfold from the perspective of all those present, alongside the formal view on the television, was an exciting prospect. Creating a platform that would leverage this idea and inspire a generation was even more so.
Captoria is currently available for download at the Apple app store for iOS smartphone devices. Support for Android/Blackberry and Windows devices will be expanding in the near future.
The press kit is available at: http://captoria.com/1/app/newsdesk
Captoria prides itself on being a truly British startup.
