GOWEX (GOW-MAB, ALGOW-NYSE Alternext, LGWXY-OTC Market), leader Company increating Wireless Smart Cities® will receive START-EX award with a global vision during the Global Forum Spain first edition which will take place next Monday 3rd of March at the Museum Guggenheim of Bilbao.


START-EX Awards


During the Forum, the Spanish Government decided to award those companies which have been established in Spain, as GOWEX did, and which started their business model according to a global vision and an export capability. The recognition prize is dedicated to those companies which knew how to construe globalization as an advantage and a growth source, and not as a menace or an impediment. Thus, since its beginning, GOWEX always bet for an international strategy business model focused on Wireless Smart Cities. During the 2013 S1, 56% of its business was outsider.

Jenaro García, CEO of GOWEX, will be the one receiving the award at the event's closing session, which will be presented by Antonio Fernández-Martos, General Director of Commerce and Investments. The Presidential table will be integrated by the Spanish Government President, Mariano Rajoy, the Spanish Minister of Economy and Competitiveness, Luis de Guindos, and the State's Secretary of Commerce, Jaime García-Legaz.

Global Forum Spain


The first Global Forum edition "Spain: from Stability to Growth" is organized by the Minister of Economy and Competitiveness, ICEX and the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, will focus on the opportunities for Spanish companies.
