In the large screen TV market, Hisense also performed well. In the 50 to 54 inches segment, Hisense surpassed Sony, reaching number three and a global market share of 10.7 percent. In the 55 to 59 inches segment, Hisense leaped to the number two spot with a global market share of 13.5 percent.

Since the beginning of the year, Hisense has increased its efforts on the research and development of high-end products such as smart, ULED, and 4K TVs. The sales volume of ULED and VIDAA smart TVs, items that were released first in China by Hisense, continues an upward trend. Hisense has been expanding its export of high-end products into international markets. Currently Hisense's smart TVs are available in three chain stores, Best Buy, Walmart, and Costco, in America. Hisense's 4K TV also has succeeded in entering leading stores in America, Europe, Australia, and South Africa, among others.
