Rapala VMC Corporation
Stock Exchange Release
April 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

Rapala VMC Corporation ("Rapala") will change its reportable operating segments from
January 1, 2012 onwards. On December 23, 2011 Rapala announced sale of the gift business, which represented nearly 50% of Other Group Products segment 2011 sales. As a result of the divestment of the gift business, Other Group products segment remaining with mainly Winter Sports and Hunting products manufactured and outsourced by the Group and sold under the Group's brands will be combined with Group Fishing Products segment and presented as one reportable segment; Group Products.

Group Products include Group Lures, Fishing Hooks, Fishing Lines and Fishing Accessories as well as Winter Sports and some other non-fishing businesses manufactured and outsourced by the Group and sold under the Group's brands. Third Party Products include non-Group branded fishing products and third party products for hunting, outdoor and winter sports. Basis for Group's operating segments is the distinction between the type and source of products. Comparative information for year 2011 based on Group's new segment structure is presented below.
