Gastech Specialist Events Launches the Oil & Gas Critical Infrastructure and Asset Security Forum

In response to these ever-increasing threats to the industry, Gastech Specialist Events will host the Oil & Gas Critical Infrastructure & Asset Security Forum on the 19-21 September 2012 in Vienna, Austria.-The programme will cover security issues related to both offshore and onshore operations arising out of civil unrest, terrorism, and other security threats to assets and information.- The focus of the event will be on using a variety of technologies to detect intrusion, including sound and vibration sensors, infrared and microwave technologies, CCTV for motion detection, and access control.  It will also discuss the implementation of security operations centres for data protection, events correlation, issuing warnings, ensuring robust perimeter security and surveillance, as well as maritime and cyber security.
