Rexel annuncia la nomina di Pascale Giet all'incarico di Vice presidente senior Comunicazione e sviluppo sostenibile. Pascale Giet, che succede a Laetitia Olivier, entrerà a far parte del Comitato esecutivo e risponderà direttamente a Jean-Charles Pauze, CEO di Rexel. Biografia
Pascale Giet ha iniziato la sua carriera lavorativa in un'agenzia pubblicitaria del Groupe Expand, prima di ricevere, nel 1990, l'incarico di gestire la comunicazione di ComDev, la controllata della Caisse des Dépôts che si occupava dello sviluppo dei canali tematici via cavo. She then joined Vivendi Universal in 1994 where she was in charge of launching TAM TAM, the first mainstream pager, as Communications Director of TDR. In 1997, Pascale Giet was appointed Advertising Director at Cegetel and managed the launch of the brand during the opening of the French telecom market before becoming Communications Director at e-TF1 in 1999 and 9 Telecom in 2001.
In September 2004, she joined Europ Assistance as Vice President of Worldwide Communications and Member of the Group's Executive Committee. In November 2006, she was appointed Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility while retaining her previous position until 2010.
Pascale Giet, 47, is a graduate of INSEAD and holds a Masters Degree in Political and Social Communications. She was also a lecturer in the Communications Department of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris from 2007 to 2009.
Rexel, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies, serves three main end markets: industrial, commercial and residential. The Group operates in 34 countries, with a network of some 2,200 branches, and employs 28,000 people. Rexel's sales were E11.3 billion in 2009. Its majority shareholders are an investor group led by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Eurazeo and BAML Capital Partners.
