With extensive experience advising companies around the world, Jones brings nearly 20 years of experience to Crowell & Moring in resolving international disputes. In particular, Jones' work focuses on representing clients in the oil & gas, mining, and financial services arenas. Jones has particular experience handling matters in Russia/CIS, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Focusing his practice on international arbitration, Jones advises on and represents clients in arbitrations conducted under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), as well as on complex multi-jurisdictional litigation matters in the courts of England and Wales. His clients include multinational corporations, investors, and numerous natural resources companies.

Jones received his B.A. from St. Chad's College, Durham University, and his M.A. from the University of York. He was called to the bar of England and Wales and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with higher rights of audience in all courts.
