PROCAR MOTORSPORT IS 5TH WITH CAMPEDELLI IN JWRC

Good debut in the JWRC with the Citroën DS3 R3 of Simone Campedelli. In the Rally de Portugal he has fought for podium positions until a brake failure forces him to a very good recovery in the final stage. 6th position for Tempestini.

Lisboa, 06/04/2014 (informazione.news - comunicati stampa - sport) Procar Motorsport's debut in the Portuguese round of the World Rally Championship ended with a 5th place in the JWRC standings thanks to a very good recovery from Simone Campedelli and his Citroën DS3 R3T.

The Italian driver, together with his codriver Danilo Fappani, finished the first leg in 1st position and then they were 3rd at the end of the second day. Unfortunately, in leg 3, during SS12, he was forced to stop his car by a front brake discs failure while he was fighting for 2nd. In the last stage he was back in the race thanks to the Super Rally and with three excellent scratch he recovered up to 5th position in the Junior WRC and WRC3.

Excellent performance also by the other half of Simon's Team, created by Procar Motrosport and Napoca Rally Academy. Simone Tempestini (Citroën DS3 R3T) finished in 6th place in the Junior WRC and WRC3. now the Simon's team is third in the standings as the Citroën Top Driver Team.
