Winners of 'Shaanxi Selfie Culture Hunt' Announced
Their selfies were then voted for by Facebook users and Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration selected 21 winners from the voters via a lucky draw to award them two round-trip flight tickets to Shaanxi or a customized terracotta warrior selfie stick.

The name Shaanxi means "Land west of Shan", a province of the Northwest China region. This is considered one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. During a span of 1,100 years, 13 dynasties had their capital cities in Shaanxi , with a total of 73 emperors ruling supreme there. The province's principal city Xi'an , is one of the four great ancient capitals of China and is the eastern terminus of the Silk Road, which leads to Europe , the Arabian Peninsula and Africa .
