Grontmij N.V. appoints Hubert Habib as Director Transportation & Mobility and Asset management

De Bilt, 29 February 2012 - Grontmij N.V. has appointed Mr Hubert Habib as Director Transportation & Mobility and Asset management. Mr Habib will adopt responsibility at group level for the development of these market segments.

De Bilt, 29 February 2012 - Grontmij N.V. has appointed Mr Hubert Habib as Director Transportation & Mobility and Asset management. Mr Habib will adopt responsibility at group level for the development of these market segments.

Mr Habib has been with Grontmij for more than 18 years and has held a number of management positions during that time. He is currently Country Managing Director responsible for Grontmij Nederland. Mr Habib will take up his new position as of 1 March 2012 and will report directly to Mr Gert Dral, member of the Executive Board of Grontmij N.V. 

Gert Dral, member of the Executive Board of Grontmij N.V. says: 'Grontmij aims to strengthen its position in a number of key market segments in Europe. To this end, it is essential that we further intensify the cooperation between the Grontmij divisions in the countries in which we are active. Hubert's extensive management experience and his thorough know-how of our business will be of great added value in those efforts.'

The position of Country Managing Director Grontmij Nederland created following Mr Habib's move will be filled on an interim basis as of 1 March 2012 by Mr Durk ten Wolde. Mr Ten Wolde has garnered extensive experience in a number of management positions, both in the Netherlands and abroad, most recently as interim CEO at Strukton N.V.
