Oakland, CA - May 8, 2012 - Zhone Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZHNE), a global leader in FTTx network access solutions, today announced its new environmentally-friendly GPON-based FiberLAN Optical LAN Solution (OLS) suite. Acknowledging the budget limitations and increased competition that Zhone's customers face, the suite helps reduce operating costs while addressing the increased demand for triple-play services. The suite supports delivery to multi-level, multi-unit commercial and industrial complexes via fiber - an alternate to existing copper-based Ethernet Switch Local Area Networking (LAN) infrastructure. Zhone will showcase the new family of solutions at CTIA Wireless 2012 in New Orleans, May 8-10, 2012 (booth #5213).
